How does an oral exam simulation work?
You pick a scenario, start the conversation and speak with the AI avatar through your microphone. The avatar acts as a demanding examiner — asking subject-matter questions and following up whenever an answer is unclear. After the conversation you receive detailed feedback on content, structure and delivery. Most sessions run around 15 minutes, but you can end at any point and still get a full evaluation.
Which subjects are supported?
Trainexus is subject-agnostic. Currently the most active fields are business and marketing, law, medicine, food science, physics and athletics. A study with 390 students is running at the University of Bayreuth on marketing exam preparation. In principle any discipline can be modelled.
What do I need technically?
A current browser, a microphone and an internet connection. It works best on tablets and laptops — phone screens are too small. No app is required.
Can I bring in my own exam material?
Yes. Through our Promptstudio or together with our team, lecture notes, exam regulations or domain terminology can be loaded in. The avatar then responds with subject-matter precision and tests exactly the content that is relevant.
