Trainexus will be present at LEARNTEC 2026 in Karlsruhe with two presentations and a live simulation. Paul Dölle, Managing Director of Trainexus UG and Research Associate at the University of Bayreuth, will demonstrate how AI-powered avatars fundamentally transform training and exam preparation across two days.
Presentation 1: Start-up Stage — AI Avatars in Training
Monday, May 5, 2026, 1:15 – 1:45 PM
Start-up Stage, Hall 1, Booth A44
"AI Avatars in Training: Realistic Conversation Simulations That Scale"
The first presentation targets companies, L&D managers, and HR development professionals. The focus is on how recurring training scenarios — difficult customer conversations, feedback discussions, compliance training — can be realistically simulated with AI avatars without tying up trainer resources.
Trainexus avatars take on the role of conversation partners: they respond to tone and content, display resistance or cooperation, and provide structured feedback afterwards. The presentation includes a live simulation on stage — a real-time conversation with an AI avatar.
Takeaway: How AI avatars make training scenarios more realistic, scalable, and measurable — without requiring trainers to be available for every practice session.
Presentation 2: university@LEARNTEC, Focus Stage — AI Avatars in Higher Education
Tuesday, May 6, 2026, 10:30 – 11:00 AM
Focus Stage, Hall 1
"AI Avatars in Training: Realistic Conversation Simulations That Scale"
The second presentation is part of university@LEARNTEC and is specifically designed for universities and educational institutions. It focuses on scenarios from academic contexts: preparing for oral exams, enabling skills training for large student groups, and making teaching more interactive.
With large student cohorts, it's often impossible to provide individual feedback or allow students to practice exam situations in advance. AI avatars create a safe space where students can train independently — as often as they want, whenever they want, with instant feedback.
This presentation also includes a live simulation: An AI avatar conducts an exam conversation on stage, demonstrating how natural and challenging the interaction can be.
