The Idea
Conversation skills can only be developed through practice. In reality, opportunities are often lacking: trainers aren't always available, group role-plays consume time, and real conversations don't forgive mistakes. AI avatars solve this by creating a safe practice space, available 24/7, infinitely repeatable, with instant feedback.

Trainexus targets universities, enterprises, and educational institutions across the German-speaking world. The platform is hosted in Germany and meets GDPR requirements. All data remains within the EU.
From Research to Practice
Trainexus emerged from a research project at the University of Bayreuth. Its scientific foundation continues post-launch: new features are developed and evaluated based on current research in AI-assisted learning.
The founding marks the starting point. What follows are the first scenarios, the first users, and proof that AI avatars can enable conversation training at scale.
