What started as a research project at the University of Bayreuth has become a platform used daily. Trainexus enables AI-powered conversation simulations, with avatars that listen, respond, and provide feedback. And the numbers speak for themselves: the demand is there.
The First Months in Numbers
Since launch, over 1,000 users have registered on the platform. More than 300 scenarios have been created, by universities, companies, and individual trainers. The range of use cases continues to grow steadily.
Where Trainexus is Being Used Today
The scenarios come from a wide variety of fields:
- Compliance Training: Employees practice difficult situations, from data protection breaches to ethical dilemmas, in a safe environment.
- Medicine: Medical students train patient intake conversations and learn how to handle concerned patients.
- Language Learning: Learners have free-flowing conversations with AI avatars that respond to their language level and provide targeted feedback on errors.
- Higher Education: Students prepare for oral exams, with an avatar playing the role of a demanding examiner.
What Comes Next
1,000 users is a beginning. Over the coming months, we're working on enhanced analytics features, new avatar personalities, and tighter integration with existing learning platforms. Our goal remains: everyone should have the opportunity to practice realistic conversation scenarios, regardless of time, location, or trainer availability.
